@ strong, the father of the prophet Isaiah ( kjv@2Kings:19:2 kjv@2Kings:19:20 kjv@2Kings:20:1; kjv@Isaiah:1:1 kjv@Isaiah:2:1). As to his personal history little is positively known. He is supposed by some to have been the "man of God" spoken of in kjv@2Chronicals:25:7-8.
